How are these guys so powerful and so mortifyingly embarrassing.

My script made my rep’s assistant angry. He hung up on me.

I accept that technicality.

I’m assuming Ted Cruz still lives there, so…no. But close!

Feeling like there's going to be a lot of guillotine art pieces coming out these next few years.

Alt text for OP: "The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word transgender" from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website." Check out Will's timeline for protest info.

Anyone else having trouble taking commentary on judicial powers by “Harry Balls” and “Bubble Bath Girl” seriously? Just me? This is a complete clown show.

It really is. I've been writing rom coms lately, hoping to put some semblance of joy out into the world to combat all of the ick. But it's hard to write the happy when things are like this.

I’ve had to purposefully read/watch sweet and funny things before bed to try to sleep without clenching my jaw and waking up angry throughout the night.

A better timeline is out there. He knows it.

Imagine being half-inside a bookcase cubby with tape and oddly cut painting tarps saying many, many profanities. Super fun. 👍

I used paint once. And by the time I taped everything off I realized that it was NOT less work.

No one deserves what's about to happen to all of us. Not even those hypocrites who voted for it. There's enough mercy left in me to believe that.

I know a lot of people have been hurt by the church. I'm one of them. And I'm so sorry for the hate and intolerance you found in those buildings and in the pages of that book. You don't deserve that.

I'm not a part of the church any more. And I no longer hold the Christian Bible as some inerrant word of God. But the blatant hypocrisy from the "Religious Right" is disgusting. Bigotry and oligarchy in the name of Christ is a blasphemy even someone like me can't tolerate silently.

The Bible directly tells followers to: - Treat the foreign born as natives - Take care of the poor until it costs you your own shirt - Visit and care for the imprisoned like you would care for Jesus - Reach out to the alienated and marginalized If you voted for TFG, take Christ out of your bio.

Our family is small, so it doesn't make sense for us to buy in super bulk. But we get what we can from there. And the croissants. For self-care.

My take: Do what you can. If you can find a better supplier for something you need, do it. If you can't, choose the best you can afford or access. Also, Costco does free same-day deliveries now and sells giant self-care croissants for $7.
