Femininity is considered to be a bad trait to have if you’re male. It’s literally the first thing people who buy into toxic masculinity drill into you when you’re young “Man up. Don’t be a girl. Boys don’t cry.”

Will I personally be going out to buy a gun? Likely not. And I hope to hell I’ll never find myself in a situation where I’d need one.

Considering the fact that both our police force and our military are highly armed I can see now why a common citizen might want to own a firearm, especially in the current political climate.
