My partner, too, would lose clients if it were generally known they have a trans partner. In fact it’s possible their practice couldn’t exist. And our family’s roots are too deep to take that risk lightly. Picking up and moving would be personal and financial disaster. 2/3

Just posting this feels risky, but in the climate we’re in I feel it’s important to share the reality we’re living with. We don’t dwell on this, our daily life is both mundane and extraordinary, full of joy! We also live with constant pressure and alertness, watching for signs of trouble. 3/3
