Sadly it's not a vote winner so I suspect wont get much attention. It is cruel though. How we treat people at their worst only goes to harden then instead of give them a reason to do better.

The fines should be in the form of shares. Actual money ends up costing the consumer, yeilding shares means they hand over more of the company as a result of mismanagement until it's easier to renationalise.

This is why they should be regulated until their pips squeak. Let them collapse, the bankruptcy can wipe off any debt amd value so it can be renationalised. Water is a right and not a for-profit enterprise.

This could also be said about the 'Reform' party in the UK. Encouraging foreign influence and money in UK politics. They're populists working against the UK's interests.

I dont have to justify anything. I'm not a policitican but you're obviously upset that the tories and deform arent in power. Go cry in the corner, I'm done listening to the whine.

Go speak to an accountant or I dunno, read basic law. You're showing yourself up.

Labour are not doing well at showing what they've achieved and the narrative has been dictated by the tory media. Overall, they're doing well. Nothing on the scale of the last 14 years of corruption and decay.

Failing not failed. So you'd have to pay for the stocks and assets. Until they have failed and can no longer operate as a business, you would have to buy the current owners (stock holders) out. After bankruptcy or insolvency, the stock holders get a nominal amount and creditors likewise.

Ok. I'll take one. Nationalising water companies would cost billions we simply dont have. Better to find a route to force them to invest, limiting the debt and prices they cost consumers. Those that fail, nationalise AFTER the bankruptcy wipes out the debt and costs less to taxpayers.

As a nation, the UK accepts the challenge!! 'Tis the season for it after all!

This is exactly the mentality of the media, brexiteers and politicians right now.
The only avenue I can think of for westminster to change its mind and save face is to release an impact assessment.
'Oh look the dead cat really is dead, lets do something about it'

You underestimate their media influence. 4.5 years of drip, drip, drip of how labour will reopen the brexit wounds, get us an awful deal, make us worse off, cost businesses billions, cripple our financial sector.
The 2016 vote was perfectly timed with social media weaponised to that single cause.

Still wondering what Farage has got against the right to life or the right to a fair trial? Or what other right & freedom or just all of them?
Be interesting to hear what right he thinks he doesnt need or I shouldnt have.
Well we do know it's not gender equality given what he said about abortion.

I've learned not to trust the reason for his brain farts. Why? What'd he replace it with? Would it come with voter suppression conditions that'd make i lt harder to actually have a free vote?
What he says is stupid, beware of underestimating the aim. America did that already.

They get hardly any air time compared to farage. Totally agree, think they'd be great at eating away at the narrative of brexit.

I keep thinking we should be quite vocal about how our media is owned by the rich and foreign entities. Wasnt brexit about sovereingty? We should be saying media should be owned by UK nationals, UK owned and controlled entities. Not a fix but less likely to work against us.

Oh I agree, the media wont give them an easy time but making it easier for the criticism isnt going to help any more either and actually would make the media more defensive of their support for brexit too. People dont like to be wrong and need to come round the realisation. We're a long way off.

And open up an attack line from an already hostile media and give the tories/reform something to unite over.
They need those to be called out by the media to own their shame. The media is coming to it, albeit slowly.

The level of media time he gets is far more than what is warranted and only normalises his rhetoric. Shameful media bias seeking the clicks and outrage, he hardly gets called to account. When he does, he runs off shouting how he's millions of followers on tiktoxic.

What "job" is William doing? Land owning and profiteering from renting properties to charities. Yeah, good job.
Totally agree with the fact Trumpf isnt someone I'd want representatives of the UK to be seen with. Trouble is, it's what America voted for, unfortunately we've the devil to deal with.

Start with the decision makers that enabled it. Those in positions of power should be held to account for blatant corruption.
