I usually love being a heavy sleeper but it's a bit disconcerting to realize I slept through tornado sirens AND the emergency alert on my phone last night. Hope everyone & their animals are ok and power comes back soon to those who lost it (if it hasn't already).

People who parrot WW3 all the time really need to sit with why they're so motivated by it, without even a plausible mechanism. Catastrophizing current events into the downfall of human civilization every 18 months is not healthy or even useful. All possible tomorrows is not a pick your own adventure

On the Bus 1992 A man with a lisp talks about his woman and the needle – swore she’d come clean if he came back First three days were bliss remembering how it used to be how it was when she loved him more 1/2

In Minnesota, first-degree murder charges require an indictment by a grand jury. This is mandated by Minnesota Statutes § 609.185 and § 628.61. It will happen.

It's been a pretty shit day personally and close-to-home politically. I just now remembered there was some parade scheduled in DC for some reason or another. Any point in getting caught up with that or nah?

Just when I think things can't get any more ridiculous. First real laugh of the day. Never change, dear FB neighborhood group.

Not sure what all the boys named Sue will do now.

I know the world's going to hell in a handbasket, at least in the US because, well, REASONS. Is that why I'm rage responding to auto-generated emails no one will read like the one about google's fucking AI bot? Probably. "It's been a while..." says the subject line. Yes, I know, piss off.

Honestly I'm just focused on toilet paper hoarding. That one bit me in the ass during COVID. Lesson learned.

Super weird that I'm online enough to see that choosing a new pope has become a spectator sport, but offline enough to wonder how is this even a thing for non-Catholics. Anyway, happy new pope day for all who celebrate!
