i saw the post and legged it to terncliff to check gaius, so i can attest he was 😭 which makes sense bc they fixed his neck seam last patch, too. im assuming they'll add extra face bones to him and zenos, varis etc soon.

role quests aside though, as much as i said 'I'd rather a failure than an excuse', that doesn't mean that if they keep reiterating the same failure that's excusable. if it's bad, they better fix it, period. you can't be perfect, but you can damn well improve, yknow? and apologize, if need be. done.

casual. about a serious issue. granted, it might be intentional and it just didn't land well; attempt and failure. they didn't feel so insensitive per se. however. when i say aiming is politically bad, i mean it. it is not insensitive, it's legit red scare 101. it's trite, it's borderline evil.

rather, i think there would be mroe room for genuine discussion if it weren't for the abysmal immediate politics of the whole thing. i can't go 'yeah, i think this was done in good faith' re: melee or tank questlines, per example, when aiming exists, simply put.

considering glam designs for dun scaith and orbonne would be hard to make (dun scaith would kinda be the same thing as CoD, orbonne is just 12/tactics stuff, which we already got) it's not impossible the next chaotic is Her Inflorescence and i fucking hope so. i love the nier raids.
