Blackfuse was an interesting example because it was a really fun/complex fight when the volume of combat log events *seemed* to grow so much that bringing an Enhancement Shaman (with Stormlash Totem, Fire Nova) acted as another multiplier that would cause lag/frameloss -- with or without addons.

You might be surprised. :) I do appreciate the addon API being available, especially such that we can address UX and a11y issues. The modern UI borrows a fair amount from addon design over two decades.

If a restaurant chain has franchises that serve spoiled food, their PR probably shouldn't argue "some people love tainted food; if you don't, just go to the Arby's without salmonella."
