Were they lovely soft feet?

He clearly wants to manage, because it would have been easier to retire. He’s probably not on his last few pennies. I really hope he’s as successful this time round as last, although the best we can currently hope for is reclaiming our yo-yo tag.

I could see him being moved upstairs to support a young coach, such as Brunt. (Not that I’m suggesting Brunt would be the man).

This has stayed with me since I first read it in 2016. www.huffpost.com/entry/histor...

Agree 100%🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦 Can you share this flyer for the Ukraine Solidarity demonstration at the Russian embassy in London. We're looking forward to seeing you speak there, but let's make sure it's a huge crowd. We need to #StandWithUkraine more than ever now!

There’s a similar argument for blocking all the social media sites. The ‘meta-verse’ is following X, and there’s nothing to say this lovely platform won’t crumble under a tidal wave of displaced loons.

Foolishness!

What did he do? Other than want a winter break?

Quite a few of these players have not had success for several seasons, and collectively they lack bottle or belief or whatever you want to call it when it’s not going their way. Oh for a McInnes or Big Dave on the pitch to offer that leadership.

Do soft feet get superseded by magic or are they a prerequisite?

You can see this every weekend on the Lea in Hackney. And almost every day in spring & summer.

How much of the sitting deep is due to player confidence? They can probably everything we’d want in training. But they go a goal up & they know they’ve not held onto a lead, so none of them want to be the one who makes the mistake that costs them the goal, so they set up the conditions to concede.

Let sleeping dogs lie. Except when you want to get into bed! It’s good to see you!

How far back are we going?

Depends where you are. Some is £75k/acre. (So I’ve been told).

Are they on here? I see stuff about them on FB

Very much so- at least I have some inkling of them here.

I’ve thought about RSA before now. Despite only having been once. But the devil you know always seems easier.

The one I’m thinking of, Gresham’s, isn’t a state school.

The man who had enough spare cash to donate £60million to his old school. Imagine what good that could have done spread between the state schools of North Norfolk!

I’d be slowing down prepared to stop at both of those. If that’s the best they can do, why did they bother?

I think the people who are visible tend to be the ranters who have some very strange fellow travellers to the right. In my experience there are large numbers of women who are GC in a more nuanced way, (maybe on a single issue) who wouldn’t have anything to do with the fascists.

That’s shocking- hope you’re ok.
