I listen to "This Year" by the Mountain Goats nearly every day because I have to remind myself, I can survive. Someday it will get better than this, I won't feel this sad forever. "There will be feasting- and dancing- in Jerusalem next year! I am going to make it through this year if it kills me!"

Pisses me off that we’re stardust with the gift of conscious existence and having to spend our time on all this bullshit.

This morning I dreamed I was getting up to go to work, and every time I opened my bedroom door it opened as if from my bedroom in my parents house, and I wish it was that easy to go back to my Oregon home.

RFK Jr's whole deal is just Progressive-era eugenics and I'm continually shocked at how many people don't see it

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last. Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

If you're struggling financially due to government fuckery or for any reason really and you need infant formula talk to your pediatrician we can hook you up and don't like to ask questions.

To quote @badasscrossstitch.bsky.social, "Fascists hate fun." We have work to do, we need to fight, but we also need to find joy and respite. You can be multifaceted and human

this meeting could have been a visit to The Museum of English Rural Life

By riding a bike primarily for transportation, I know which houses in nearby neighborhoods have cats that like to lay in the windows, which yards have the most squirrels, and which people like to wave and say hello the most.

I love this, and I also feel like @bookbeaut.bsky.social would too

as LA is burning, a swath of the country is recovering from an ice storm, Alabama is preparing for up to 6” of snow and I’m praying for the TX power grid, a reminder: we don’t need climate action just for future generations, we need it now. the climate crisis is here, all around us

“I don’t have a problem with people who are into cars. I just don’t think we should have to buy one to live. If that’s your hobby, you have the space & that’s your thing, fine. I just don’t want to have to live somewhere where my ability to get food, run errands is dependent on owning a car.”

!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ryan Reilly, welcome to The War on Cars.

There is a woman at the airport just staring at me because I’m wearing a mask and I wish she would stop!!!!!!

Today we remember the legacy of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson

anxiety is the idiot of feelings
