Yeah, I think we're on the same page. Both Hamas and Netanyahu's government not only exert terrible suffering, crimes and terror attacks against the other side, but also against their own people. Netanyahu serves himself, not Israel or the jewish people.

That really depends on the type of oppression, and even if you don't engage on the semantic side of things, you should agree that oppression isn't justified in any case no matter who it is directed at.

You can stand with the Jewish people, their right to not be oppressed/fight oppression, and still criticize the nation state of Israel for its human right abuses. A lot of people equate this criticism as antisemitism, and it is frankly tiring.
