State Violence Lover has spoken

What’s weird (?) is even when presented with film of people being knocked down by fire hoses. It’s sorta presented as if the fire hoses were an inevitable event not a gross escalation of state violence.

I'm just a simple country conflict tracker but someone once told me attacking a neutral flagged civilian vessel in international waters was a grave crime against the international community that only Iran-backed Houthi terrorists would stoop to

This is very specifically illegal, not in like an interpretive way, it is literally written in black and white in the statute that reps must be let in to perform oversight

the issue is not just ICE. we can live free and safe. or we can have police like we have right now. we cannot do both

Important thing to beat people over the head with: Trump has turned American cities into warzones and for fucking what? Prices are way up, jobs will be way down, the dollar is worth less, and now the highway is blocked off by cops. Maybe the Great Mythical Immigrant wasn’t the problem after all.

Autopenned?

Three months ago today, plain-clothes ICE agents abducted Mahmoud Khalil in his apartment building lobby after they'd followed him home. Free Mahmoud.

This needs as much coverage as protests or ICE raids. Los Angelenos FTW. ❤️🙌

On the left, residents cleaning up their streets. On the right, federalized Guard arriving to quell "violent mobs." You can see some holding their assault rifles. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/06...

Amazing this one kid doing this simplest thing ensured the survival of John Connor.

they did this to PDX in 2020. i kept getting calls from people living elsewhere wondering if i was “safe in that city.” the national news acted like the whole damn town was burning down. meanwhile, the entire protest area was like 3 blocks. don’t believe the bullshit.

Another example of, "Where you stand depends on where you sit."

Have national Dems, who claim to want to "win back" the working class, said anything yet about ICE injuring and arresting the head of the SEIU of California? truthout.org/articles/ice...

I bet Maura Healy gonna get right on this…

These are crimes. They're committing crimes. And when people understandably protest the fact that they're committing crimes, they're shooting flashbangs at them.

The California legislature and city & county governments should file injunctions and draft emergency legislation prohibiting the quartering of now-federalized troops on private property including hotels under the Third Amendment. Make the Guard bivouac on the ground on federal property.

We don't have secret police in America. At least we're not supposed to.

So much tear gas has been thrown in the streets by the LAPD that they've gassed elderly people in their own home? Am I understanding that right?

The fearmongering has worked. People don't believe that using the funds taken from police to increase resources would reduce crime substantially more than policing does EVEN THOUGH MULTIPLE STUDIES SAY OTHERWISE. We are governed by fear and vibes. The anti-science agenda isn't new.

Now is as good a time as any to google LASD Gangs

The FAA has issued a NOTAM (which bans unauthorized drone flights) covering the area in Los Angeles where the protests are happening right now: tfr.faa.gov/tfr3/?page=d...

America today (still of video from @acatwithnews.bsky.social)

People who live in nearby homes are being choked by the ICE/DHS tear gas in Paramount, CA.

Mississippi College, whose sports teams are "the Choctaws," redesigned its mascot with input from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians from one that caricatured Native Americans to one that better reflects Choctaw culture. Tribal members regularly appear at athletic events in Choctaw regalia.

Then they should be pardoned immediately.

A father screams for his child from a tiny interview room within a basement waiting room inside LA federal building. The space is not a holding area. No food. No water. No diapers. Those initially detained include a 2-year-old US citizen and a woman with high-risk pregnancy.

The Zone of Interest (2023)

What does it say about the economy? It says people can’t afford to fucking eat, man!

Math matters.

Ben Schrader, the former chief of the criminal division for the U.S. attorney’s office in Nashville, resigned following the office’s decision to seek an indictment against Kilmar Abrego Garcia, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News. abcnews.go.com/US/mistakenl...

I hope this fucker works himself to death

The could have just hired Mr Beast if they wanted a fake looking person

This is 10-12 tenure-track assistant professors’ salaries at many places. A whole academic program’s worth of money, pissed away, In Times of Austerity, on rent-a-cops going after students who dared speak. Nobody behind this should have a career.

My neighbors would ring one of those chuck wagon triangles when it was time for their kids to come home for dinner. Out of earshot? Just be home by dark.
