A huge reason for the cost difference is subsidies. In most cases, vegan meat is cheaper without the tax deductions and farmer financial support for animal flesh.

They had a partnership with violife cheese and la vie bacon to put on the plantbased whopper and when that ended they got rid or the whopper for a bean burger, and the nuggets weren't in every location, something about no room for a dedicated fryer. Pizza hut has gone backwards here too.

In the UK, we had vegan nuggets, bacon double cheeseburgers, and chicken sandwiches. Now it's just the chicken sandwich and bean burger they brought back from the grave.

My partner had them in France, said they were really good. Not a place many want to go for the reasons you say but at a pinch, and for those that would go anyway, it's better the nuggets are there than not!
