Ugh I'm in the same boat. I have everything covered and praying to the tomato spirits to please help them survive the cold snap we are getting.

They are and they're so good! They taste like a milder version of the chive leaves with a hint of floral.

That's so frustrating! I haven't sown my cucs or pumpkins yet either.
If you can, place bottles or jugs of hot water all around the base of the plants and cover with a cardboard box, plastic, or blanket/towel to trap the heat. This will help protect them overnight.

I'm going to put jugs/bottles of hot water all around the tomatoes and peppers at night and cover them with cardboard boxes or frost blankets. Hopefully that will help!

I'm worried I'm going to have to start over with all my tomatoes. I've never seen it this cold in late May before!

Lucky! All my tomatoes are out in the garden beds. I covered them with frost blankets last night π€. I might have to start over after this week.

Yes, these are the Sabre peas from Renee's Garden. So far, so good!

I found them somewhere else and carried them to that spot. Itβs my raised bed filled with tall oat plants and the pine shavings are mulch. I thought it was a good place to protect them while they recuperated!

How did it work out? I have never been able to preserve the lemon flavor. I use it fresh or freeze it.

That said, I do check ClearSky just to make sure I'm not on any weird lists. That has happened a couple times.
