This is more than us not being allowed to play on a women's team. We are being targeted and bullied just because we want to love and live as our trueselves. We are being segregated and used as a political weapon for those who said they would be there to protect us.

I battled alot over the last few years with cancer, mental health and injuries.
But each time I was knocked down, I got back up. With the love and support from this community and friends, I was able to get up and keep going, and giving a positive outlook to everything I do.

Closing ceremony, I was saying thank you with people on the stage that I have grown up with and call my friends, telling me that I am special, the tears started because it's hard to accept that I make a difference.

I run a clothes swap for trans and nb annually where everyone sends in clothes and I give people a safe space to try them on and take what they want for free.
