I think its really good writing how even this early Caenis is shown to be a victim whose assault has given him a need for dominance and aggression towards others (similar to what was forced onto him) in order to feel powerful and safe.
Its *good* and messy and I love him for all of it.

yeah, GW's "Sisters have to be written one or two specific ways and anything else is NOT allowed" bit really suffocates Argenta's character. Ironically because of it the middle path ending gives her the most character development (especially with an Iconoclast RT)
