One of my 6th graders wrote his own “I Have a Dream” speech.His parents are immigrants and he’s terrified💔 “I have a dream where black people wouldn’t be seen as hoodlums,robbers,or criminals but as fellow citizens. I have a dream where hispanics are not seen as illegals but as fellow citizens.”

In 2012,the Eli & Edythe Broad Museum opened on my college campus.I remember the Soweto Village installation and learning about the ongoing water shortages and water wars South Africa was entangled in. It's only a matter of time... Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement was a grave mistake.
