As for, “make the SOB deny it,” I think we made a grave mistake when we stopped holding to, “I will not dignify that with an answer.” Denying an accusation serves to repeat the accusation. If asked directly, simply say, “no,” but do not otherwise comment on the absurdity. 2/2

Anything will improve your vocabulary and the breadth of your knowledge, but we don't teach that joy anymore, and make the pursuit financially prohibitive. 3/3

E-books use no materials: no paper, no ink, no binding or covers, and very little time to reproduce, yet the industry charges the same for them as it does for bound books. What a crime. I'm a disabled (now retired) college teacher and psychologist, and I think that modern society struggles 2/
