Possibly the best encapsulation of lifelong Altadena/Pasadena freaks is the Doo Dah Parade, where you can find young children tossing tortillas (to signal your love) at a group of anti-fascist furries marching beside a guy in a wagon playing Zombies covers. God I love it. God I’m sad!
