I think the original deal was offensive nonsense but a good deal will probably be reached, if Trump can be kept away from it lol.
comment in response to post
This is not true and it's dangerous to tell ourselves it is. This country is absolutely bursting at the seams with passive racism.

He just had a different goal than you and I. Sorry that's too complicated.

US policy for decades has been US soft power first, then people. Do I agree with it, no I do not, but I don't call it Joe Biden's mistake either.
comment in response to post
The thing about Joe Biden is that he was an America First president for real. Grinding Russia to collapse is in America's best interest so Ukraine can't win before that happens. Israel is the only projection of US power in the Middle East so he cannot openly take the side of the Palestinians.

That kid could, oh idk, actually learn how to code

I agree she did an amazing job which just further proves my point that she was up against an electorate that never ever would have elected her. I also think that the majority of Americans hear Arab and think terrorist. They're not smart and they don't pay attention.

The rural and the rural cosplayer from suburbia, I do think those 2 groups are most of America. I live in blue as can be MA and even I see them everywhere.

This doesn't prove anything. It doesn't even say it does. Weird voting patterns. Ok.

You haven't been to the Midwest. Go to the middle of Missouri and think about who you'd have to be to live there.

If you haven't seen it, go watch "I am not your negro". James Baldwin will help you see the truth about how Obama was able to win convincingly and Harris was not.
comment in response to post
Harris was confident she would win. Trump was convinced he would lose and so was his whole team. Nobody did the math on how racist we still were, we were blinded by Obama. But go watch his 2004 speech at the convention again. Harris didn't have that and she's a woman on top of it.

Especially not by Elon musk, a guy who moves like Jagger but not like the song. Elon Musk is not some mastermind genius like Putin. He's an unlikable damaged Incel who got extremely lucky with stocks. He's never actually done anything himself.
comment in response to post
You can't honestly believe this. Look at the whole country. All of it went right by about the same amount. Did Elon hack the whole country? States run the elections, did he plant moles at the top of all the state electoral agencies? Absolutely no way that's possible
comment in response to post
Kid is definitely pulling wings off flies
comment in response to post
Yes, just because he says something doesn't mean it's true. We all wanted Harris to win. She didn't. There's no dark conspiracy just a country absolutely bursting at the seams with passive racism.
comment in response to post
Musk is loudly and proudly breaking federal law because federal crimes require federal officers to arrest and US attys to charge. They all work for Trump. All of them. See the problem? Even the US Marshals who enforce court orders work for Trump. Scary stuff.
comment in response to post
Besides we see and have seen how stupid and incompetent Elon is. No way he hacks an election or even a lemonade stand.
comment in response to post
And? Just because some guy says something doesn't mean it's true. There's no evidence. The whole country moved right. Because black woman scary. Just accept it. Humanity is dumb and tribal, always has been.
comment in response to post
Elon musk didn't hack the election. If he had he would have live tweeted it. The people who go to Applebee's in the sticks won't vote for a black woman to be in charge. Most of this country is them.
comment in response to post
The states run the elections
comment in response to post
Trump will say anything for attention, including saying he had a meeting with Putin when he didn't.

More!

Let's see if the Supreme Court will side with this stupidity and remove themselves from power.

And people don't know that. I want to know that Nazis are getting beat right now, 3 months ago isn't even in this timeline.

This is from 3 months ago

Trump is anti-science because the scientists make him look bad. Musk is anti USAid because he wants apartheid back. Don't think either one cares about cancer one way or the other.
comment in response to post
The country will keep getting less white and more diverse. The change is coming. Trump is just a speed bump.
comment in response to post
Well look I know it's not good policy for right now but if the country was in any way sane we wouldn't want MTG wandering the halls of dept of ed posting the IEPs of poor kids online and how much it was costing taxpayers would we?
comment in response to post
Hey asshole is that a black woman in that picture? No? It's a white guy? Go and entirely fuck yourself. Hope it brings you joy.
comment in response to post
Really? He hasn't done anything on immigration other than talk. All these raids and actions were already planned under Biden, except the performative idiocy like shackles and Guantanamo (lol) Do you actually do reporting anymore? Stop kissing up to trump, you can see how well that's going surely.
comment in response to post
He won't be alive in 4 years, not in any way that matters. He's just barely alive now.
comment in response to post
He's going to resettle 2 million people. In new homes. Where exactly? In Israel?
comment in response to post
That has zero to do with why musk targeted usaid. Usaid was instrumental in ending apartheid in South Africa and also usaid was involved in investigations into musks companies. Musk and Trump don't care at all about the budget, never did.
comment in response to post
It's the job of the executive to carry out the will of congress. The constitutional crisis started when Trump's successful son he never had took a bat to an agency set up and funded by congress
comment in response to post
It's just project 2025. I guess it depends how you define ages.
comment in response to post
No it doesn't. Trump simply fires anyone who resists or follows the law. He's the boss of all these agencies.
comment in response to post
Nobody hacked the election. People really are that racist. Go to an Applebee's an hour drive from a tall building and tell me I'm wrong.
comment in response to post
Oh hey no more student loans!

Hah! I was just thinking this guy is going to say "I'm in this thing!" Lol.

if I had a nickel for every penisnode class etc. My second tech job theyd been rebuilding their core app for 10 years. They never finished. It destroyed the company. I've seen a whole sql database with xml in almost every column. Have you heard of bpm for websphere? Truly amazing anything works.
comment in response to post
🤣 Probably built by overseas contractors. Get it to work get you to sign and get to the next thing! If it doesn't work tomorrow I don't care, good luck!
comment in response to post
Yes. And? But seriously that's the likely outcome, everything falling apart.
comment in response to post
Oh I have definitely been at places where nobody understood or touched the things that work. I think that every place after a decade or 2.
comment in response to post
I'm a GitHub CI/CD guy and would be as lost in mainframe stuff as the little musklings are, but you can't convince me that any deployed system in 2025 (or 1975 for that matter) exists without source control. I refuse to believe it.
comment in response to post
Not possible in the sense that anything can be rebuilt, which is what I meant. Create a snarled mess of garbage in the db so things have to be manually reconstructed which could take a while.
comment in response to post
It would be very funny if the US govt suddenly started buying millions of dollars of DOGE but idk if something that stupid is actually the plan. Probably is though, because everything is stupid now.
comment in response to post
He can easily break everything with a single commit, and depending on the commit he could create a situation that is unrecoverable.
comment in response to post
I think that didn't happen because it didn't happen.
