I'm a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars and Doctor Who, among other things. I'm mostly just posting Virtual Photography on here at the moment, but might get more talkative as I get more settled on bsky.

Launching in the earliest months of the 24th century, the Columbia Class Explorer was based upon the old NX Class; intended to be a more lightweight alternative to the Excelsior's huge multipurpose frame (this is headcanon lore & may not reflect official STO lore) #StarTrekOnline #VirtualPhotography

Time to boycott Paramount. #ParamountSucks #BoycottParamount

There's some headlines floating around about the #StarTrek Section 31 movie making it to the Top 10 of the Nielsen streaming charts, and fandom discourse being what it is, there's alarmist stuff going around about "now they've got an excuse to just make slop forever", HOWEVER, Paramount/CBS can 1/4

The world is on fire; post ships #StarTrekOnline #VirtualPhotography

First Star Trek TV episode I saw isn't all that interesting, as I'd rented season 1 of TOS, so it was just The Man Trap, but my earliest Star Trek memory is Search for Spock airing on TV, the scene where Kirk discusses identifying a cloaked ship by the distortion visible in the stars.

On hold to talk to customer service for a major UK clothes store. Their hold music is AWFUL. Not in the sense that its cheesy hold music, I mean it sounds like they used the world's cheapest microphone to record the song off a radio with a broken aerial. How did they ever get audio this fuzzy?

Over the last week or so, I feel like I've had a lot of negative interactions in fandom spaces in a variety of communities. All I've done is talk positively about the things I like. Sometimes I wonder if I should just stop bothering with online fandom spaces. So many just want to be cynical 1/2

I wonder which #StarTrek characters the people in this parish ship… #StarTrekDiscovery

One small change I hope to see in #StarTrekOnline at some point would be for the Wolf 359 memorial map be altered to have the lighting & skybox from the W359 TFO. The TFO has neutral lighting & a very pretty skybox ⬆️, but the memorial is so gloomy, it can be hard to appreciate the station & ships⬇️

I know its been a bit of a divisive change so far, but personally, I've been really digging the revamped visuals to the Wrath of Khan era phasers in #StarTrekOnline. Really looking forward to see how the VFX have been tweaked further in today's patch. #VirtualPhotography #StarTrek #WrathOfKhan

How did I not hear about this until JUST NOW.... AND DIDN'T HEAR ABOUT IT ON BLUESKY?!

The front of the Breen Keth Sarr courier that's just been added to #StarTrekOnline was reminding me of something. Eventually realised the viewport is reminiscent of the Tartan Patrol Cruiser from the 2006 Real-Time Strategy game, Star Wars: Empire at War. What an oddly nostalgic design coincidence.

Launched 2381, the Stargazer Class was the first purely exploratory class since the Shinzon Crisis. USS Stargazer was under the command of Roma Giordano. In timeline Sierra-10, Stargazer bore the registry NCC-2893-A; in all other known timelines, it was NCC-77290 #StarTrekOnline #VirtualPhotography

No spoilers, but there's some wonderfully cryptic easter eggs in the new #StarTrekOnline story mission...

👀 Funky new key-art for #StarTrekOnline 's new story update! I especially like how Kuumaarke seems to be reacting to a shocking text message! 😆

Not everyone in the Klingon Empire wants to be a warrior, many find honor in scientific pursuits. The Lo'lah Class was a Science vessel utilising tech discovered in an ancient Dyson Sphere... and was of course still capable of demonstrating Klingon combat prowess. #StarTrekOnline #VirtualPhotography
