Remember when Romney was ridiculed for putting his dog on the roof of his car. Then Noem was for killing an “unruly” pup. Now this ultra-conservative murders a dog for likely trying to defend his family. Are conservatives the anti-dog party?

Of course the moment I post this then the Supreme Court has to decide that states can ban healthcare to #transgender minors & my faith in American checks & balances diminishes. www.pbs.org/newshour/amp...

When there are other branches of government not kissing his ass and willing to impeach him?

Wouldn't it be nice for him if he could refuse to have a battle of wits with the unarmed.

My colleagues and I actually recently published a study that integrated Moral Disengagement Theory with 2 other theories to construct a framework for identifying “dangerous speech” (speech intended to incite violence). It is cool you use MDT to apply to disinfo. I also have a whole disinfo framework

You know…I think seat belts are ugly too. And bike helmets give people ugly hair. And boy those stupid hideous yellow barrels on the highway need to go. Plus rumble strips hurt my ears. And why do I mess up the aethestic of my car with children’s car seats. Clearly all these things have to go.

It gives me an itchy jumpy feeling in my chest when I think about seeing my parents. When I think about trying to join their lives. What if I don't matter to them either?" - D. Esperanza (Detained) 13/13

It makes me want to crawl down the port-a-potty & dissolve into chemicals. It makes me never want to look anyone in the eye again. It makes me feel embarrassed... 12/13

It makes me want to grab a megaphone & scream "I'm a person! I'm supposed to matter!" But more often it makes me wonder if maybe I don't matter. It makes me want to collapse. It makes me want to give up. It makes me want to melt into my bunk. 11/13

Teachers who don't sound any alarms when 9 & 10 year olds are passing out on the football field because they are afraid to drink water, because they are afraid to use the bathroom. It makes me want to grab a piece of cardboard and write "I'm a kid! Do something!" on it. 10/13

These grownups who speak fluent English & could do something to help us but who just stand around looking tired & annoyed while kids like me are kept from our parents for no reason. 9/13

The servers in the cafeteria who see this food is making us sick but won't do anything about it, who won't let us grab another box of Frosted Flakes. The worst of all are the teachers. These useless teachers who call us by our bed numbers. 8/13

The bus drivers who shuttled me & a bunch of innocent kids from one jail to another & never stopped to ask what we did to deserve this, why we weren't in school, why we weren't with our parents, why we were crying, why we were dirty, why my foot was oozing blood & pus. 7/13

There have been a million examples. The woman behind the desk who called Papa & filled out my registration on her computer before her buddies in green uniforms stuffed me in a refrigerator. 6/13
