I'm so sorry to hear this DaisyMaeMom. I grew up in Michigan and I was one of the families that ate/drank the pesticide-poisoned beef/milk from the farms during the 1972 PBB contamination disaster. My father died of Parkinson's. sph.umich.edu/news/2023pos...

2/ Michigan didn't just poison birds and earthworms. We are also the state that infamously had pesticide accidentally fed to livestock. At least half the state's population, including my family, unknowingly drank poisoned milk and ate poisoned meat. I'm still part of a study of medical consequences.

Point taken, however, for the age-group this was written to, I don't know anybody in that age group who ever expected to be able to actually retire The younger generations know they're going to work til they're dead :(

I took down our Facebook page for a reason. We don’t want to be on Facebook. We don’t want our comics on Facebook. Please respect that.

Boyfriend has a story from long ago. His preschool daughter wanted him to ditch his beard. He sat her down next to him at mirror, and had her watch as he trimmed it all down and carefully shaved his face clear. Then wiped clean with towel. She stares at him for a moment. "Put it all back" she says.

These programs cover the infant I saw 3 weeks ago with RSV and hypoxia who had to be transferred to the regional children’s hospital for care. And the young man with 2 low-paying jobs who had appendicitis and was able to go home the same day after an appendectomy. 4/13

I'm hopeful for the possible sitcom with you & Brian Posehn! Even though it would ruin my own pretend-ending of the original Big Bang. In my mind, in the final scene, Stuart Bloom found the thumbdrive he'd never gotten around to selling, & the bitcoin was still on it. Stuart became a billionaire!

At this point, every member of the US Congress could go home, never leave their house, and never talk to anyone. And it absolutely would not make any difference to what is happening in the United States. Think about that.

Exactly. My husband watches baseball, soccer, football etc through the seasons, but has no favorite teams; just enjoys the games

PSAWLD noted here on BlueSky, marks people who came here from a Facebook group called "Pot-Smoking Atheists Who Love Dogs." We are mostly a bunch of libs who post photos of our dogs. lol. :)
