Mask of Fear is a fascinating read that I deeply enjoyed. The parallels to current events are startling but sadly show the timeless narrative at play. The version seen in the world of Star Wars is utterly captivating, and the insight given on several characters and events is exciting. #StarWars 1/3

Tears of the Nameless is an amazing High Republic novel with many connections to culture, history and other literature. One of the biggest is how the Tolemites, in name and government structure (a triumvirate) reflect the Elamites of ancient history. #StarWars #HighRepublic #History #Mesopotamia

Azlin Rell AND Cohmac Vitus are The High Republic’s Merlin. Merlin is a complicated figure, and it seems they split him for The High Republic. You could make an argument that Yoda is a better representation of Merlin but I explain my thinking below. #StarWars #AzlinRell #CohmacVitus #Merlin
