There is a story that she once said to Shaw, that they should have a baby, which with her looks and his brains would be a great success. He replied, with that madam it might rather have my looks and your brains. We shall never know which it would have been or neither.

The board and the oral histories are in the Kingswood cafe and can be seen during opening times, 11am-4pm. The rest of the research will be available on the Kingswood Arts website in the new year.
