The world is a depressing place right now. Not sure I can face watching the news and I’m getting more wary of opening social media too. Best throw myself into research, followed The Longest Day (book).

Dad sent me this article by his RE teacher Mr Beckingham on his wartime service. Dad said that during thunderstorms, Mr Beckingham would jump under his desk, apologising that was because of his wartime experiences, but they never knew any more about it. (1/3) www.pegasusarchive.org/normandy/a_l...
