This hit home. I'm a theater artist, not an animator, but I see a similar thing happening in many different art fields. It honestly prompted me to look at my own work and ask myself what parts of it are the "fan" still poking through, and whether they get in the way of the "artist"'s voice.

Duke, in a surprising twist, often brings to-go containers out after big events.... recent grad student brain kicks into gear in much the same way as orchestra brain, I think.
