Playing something like Metallica on banjo was always a hit, for my bestie, at parties when I was in high school.

For everyone, he got sprayed by a skunk 3 times. First time we tried nice then he got loose and darted all over our utility room, us trying to catch a slippery, wet, soap cat on linoleum. Pure 3 stooges style, thank god no camera phones!

As a youngster my sister would throw our cat over the top of a running shower stall with glass door, and we would go in when the growling and howling stopped.😜 Then he got tuna from a can so he forgave us.

We thought of that my 99 suburban is going to Pride with our cell phones left behind (I keep a flip phone burner charged in the truck) parked blocks away. If violence goes down we meet up at truck with anyone we can help flee.

you have to pull straight in and then you can't close the door. It would be impossible for a person who can't stand and pivot. Cap Rock on the other hand ladies room is fine and their tables are a bit more spread out. (They are owned by the same people) The assessments would be done by actual 🧵

Unless the Dr knows you they are going to be lax to give you decent meds. They might give you torodol which works for some folks better than Ibuprofen. They probably will do xrays which might give you some idea of the issue

Hubby and I are both disabled. It's funny through our life people have expected one of to leave and it has been dependent on which of us is perceived to be more "well" Mine is progressive, his is a birth defect that is obvious. We're 25+ yrs in.

One of the hardest things for me is the inability to know ahead of time of a limitation. One time I can do something the next my body rebels and I'm in ICU. Last round was I got overtired and sunburned. That's it, landed me in cytokine storm. Now allergic to sun in desert Texas. Cool beans😒

I belong to a medieval reenactment group and our lunches are often potlucks and we have several food allergies and food needs so we bring something to share and make sure recipes are included on a card so folks can choose foods they can eat.

I'm learning the hard way if you already have CPTSD getting it again on a whole new thing is more likely. I feel like I took steps backward and now have new trauma unlocked. FFS.
