if you dont know how to contact me, you can email me at this same handle at gmail dot com. im feeling destroyed by something thats happened in my life, and know i need to ask for help and not give into my habit/desire to completely isolate and stew and drive myself insane

its not my preference to even acknowledge or admit anythings wrong or happened at the moment, and it feels inappropriate to even say so, but i promise i wouldnt force myself to do so if it didnt call for it. please reach out, ill try to respond. thank you

believe the public facing material is the truth, and think the more accurate fuller picture is crazy and bigoted

the "born this way" narrative was a reaction and strategy to act as a stop gap in a dire situation, but most people in real life understood the truth is far more nuanced and complex than that. but now people without that initial understanding of "truth vs public facing",

just so ridiculous to disregard the millions of people who would be far "sicker" or dead without medication and write it off as not worthwhile in the pursuit of some unrealistic concept of "health"

many people are saying cruel and reactionary things because theyre clearly terrified of being fat bc theyre conceding to the messaging that falling out of range of certain bodytypes = ugly = unlovable = deserves to be treated as a subhuman. at least im not deluded as such

reaction of people not looking it up or reading the article: well its over. not to be obnoxious but i really need people to stop promoting "the apocalypse is coming" type of thinking when the facts as we know them presently say otherwise

itd be useful to the general public for this communication to be more transparent on people who have to travel. news of what pilots, unions, cabin crews, & all safety workers are trained to do or additional efforts arent making it to your eyeballs, but it is definitely There

yeah my thoughts as well. ppl have a much higher risk of long term injury from getting sick while flying than from a crash

they can gut the FAA and NTSB (tragic in both instances) but aviation has unions and is private corporations ♥️

“Trans Scholarship, Freak Professionalism, and Philosophy as a Workplace” is a more sustained argument for the points I made in this earlier essay (which I wrote after it!): blog.apaonline.org/2024/10/16/p...

i dont support the medical or psychiatric industry but it was so obvious advocating for harsher sentiments towards medication was always going to go here

it depends on the airline and country. every airlines medical exam is different, people in the industry say they primarily check vision and hearing
