There is some nuance here IMO, if someone engages in good faith then talk to them but if they are being shit wits then disregard them? Like there's a social contract most people that are far gone don't follow so that means it doesn't apply to them. I agree try but there is a line?

This was my upbringing in NB Small town Christian cult that all the viewpoints are very strictly societally regulated. I traveled and grew up, alot of the people I grew up with moved to Alberta like me and they stayed because it was so ideologically similar.

I was going to get the train today. But I am increasingly concerned at the deficit I’m running with Great Northern Rail. I buy a lot from them and they purchase nothing from me. Tempted to apply a 20% tariff. Sure my tickets will cost 20% more but it might mean I buy fewer and reduce the deficit.
