Here’s Conrad Veidt in a very different role from Major Strasser in #Casablanca! In the 1938 French film “Le joueur d’échecs,” he played a baron who builds automatons and uses one of them to help a Polish friend escape Russian oppression! And yes, he speaks French! #TCMParty #ConradVeidt

Pete & Chasten Buttigieg bought a house in Chasten’s hometown in Michigan 5 years ago in 2020. It’s been Pete’s official residence for 3 years. They moved there mainly to raise their twins near Chasten’s parents. Also, Pete grew up and spent most of his life only 4.9 miles from the Michigan border.
