On the plus side it basically triggered a bit of an early midlife crisis that lead to me finally being comfortable with my bisexuality, becoming a furry and meeting so many great people that way, and becoming incredibly comfy in my skin ❤️

Yeah, I think for a lot of people COVID was just such a huge "Stop the world" event it derailed ya brain off the tracks for a lot of peeps in various ways, myself included. Id been dancing between the raindrops but it all fell apart during lockdown

As much as medication has helped me, the advice from the specialist has always stuck with me: "skills over pills". He emphasised not "instead of", it was use the meds to stabilise, then use therapy, mindfulness, organisational tools and apps, breathing, exercise etc

The UK has been super skeptical of ADHD, esp in adults, it's better now but still lingers. Like people would joke "omg yer so ADD Hoofie" all the time, but when I would go, "...no seriously should I talk to a specialist?" everyone blew it off 😭

Hell yeah! I got diagnosed and been on meds since 2020, genuinely has been a huge QoL improvement and helped me so much with work and organisation.
Did you go the stimulant route? I started on Concerta/Adderall route but it made me a lil loopy so I moved to Elvanse/Vyannse and not looked back 👌

i've found either a motorbike thigh pouch, bum bag (fanny pack for yall yanks 😜) or shoulder bag is the way to go, but I also always travel with a bunch of stuff on me that'd pull my undies down if they did have pockets (Handfan, Phonebattery, vape pen, bank cards, sunscreen etc)
