As a Michigander, visiting Canada is just a fun day trip. While clearly not the 51st state, we definitely have a friendliness with them due to proximity. Our stores take Canadian coins. The idea that we would want to get in a trade war with them is absolutely insane.

This was the 1st year I mostly purchased all my holiday gifts online vs. in store . I assumed most people did this years ago. But when I asked friends, I was surprised by how many still shopped mostly in person. Age didn’t seem to be the divider. Curious how you shopped this year?

My 94 year old great-uncle was at Thanksgiving & is in amazing health for 94. At age 42, it’s hard for me to fathom what it would even be like to live another 52 years. This generation knows where we are headed if we don’t stick to our principles. We need to listen.
