I've never heard of fruit-flavored string cheese, but that's become my new least favorite food of all time. 🀒

@fuckmaxbooth.bsky.social to re-pay the favor, I think you'd dig this! music.youtube.com/watch?v=HwHH...

I have to deduct half a point since it isn't nu-metal, but I dig this. Thanks Max!

You're right, I did. Goddamn it, I need to do a better job of hiding my subliminal messages. Do you think Bluesky will adopt a background similar to the ones used for 3-D glasses? I really think that would help me out.

Damn it Max, you spoke my anxiety into existance πŸ˜‚ I literally thought, "should I say there's nothing wrong if you like nu-metal? Nah, I'm overthinking it" BUT I WASN'T! πŸ˜‚

Especially track 1 "The Pressure Keeps Me Alive".

I agree with you! I used to do IT work for another chain and I've seen this and a whole host of other things. Including having dogs/cats in strollers, which hey do you, but startled the hell out of me the first time I saw it πŸ˜‚

Any time, it's an awesome story! This was my first of your work, but I look forward to reading more.

Thank you! Love Bauhaus, but The Cure is a blindspot for me. I'm going to add them to my rotation!

Thank you Steph! I'm gonna look into that one. Also, you may be able to help me with a Joy Division question! Have you heard their track "Warsaw" from when they went by that name? I loved that more driving sound, do you know any other bands that had that kind of "Joy Division but more punk" sound?

I did! I'll be honest, I was a new convert to the band in that I discovered them from the wave of bands they inspired in the early 2000s like Interpol, Editors and so many others. That and the movie and then I fell in love πŸ˜‚ I thought the movie was fantastic!

I love your poem Steph! Also, that's one of my favorite Joy Division songs ever. All these years later and those songs still hit incredibly hard and spawned so many bands with their trailblazing.
