it's this weird thing of if people want to support modders financially, that's great! but i think patreon has encouraged people withholding mods+mod support for the sake of money and i feel it takes the spirit away from modding :/ luckily the modding community i'm part of is pretty anti-monetisation

it's already an awful way of moderating a platform. add in the fact that trans women have been disproportionately affected by the recent waves of bans & it starts to look like maybe it isn't just about CSAM and is another example of using "what about the children" to cover transphobia/transmisogyny.
