I can’t think of a way to use a “hub and spoke” system like Ontario’s transit that would be good television. It’s basically impossible to get between any of the GO lines without going through union for example. All roads lead to Toronto… maybe it would work in Montreal though?

It’s fair, but also maybe also no kings here either?

As long as there’s a Yellow Toyota driven by a man with a moustache that accepts cash payments, I will not use uber/lift/waymo/ whatever stupid Silicon Valley scabmobile to transport my drunk ass home from the pub. But I dread what these ghouls will do to the world…

It’s real ambitious for the largest rocket ever flown which has to date lifted zero (0) tonnes of cargo to even low orbit. Yes, surely this isn’t just hype to pump the value of certain assets.

It also sucks shit at driving directions if it’s any consolation. It constantly tries to make me take a left across a six lane stroad to “save time”. Just a garbage product all around

3 fails out of 9 flights and a total of zero tonnes of payload to orbit. Meanwhile NASA is two for two sticking the landing with their looney tunes ass Sky-Crane landing cars on Mars. They’re not the same, never forget it lol.

You guys can never compete with Canada. We’ve invented six new ways to serve wet potatoes this week alone. We’re leaving you in the dust.

The most contentious US vs Can vs UK spelling debate is “license” vs “licence” This will never be solved. Ever.

If it weren’t for the Big Government regulation on onion trading (Onion Futures Act of 1958) I would be doing some craaaaazy arbitrage trading rn

me and my fellow goblin children used to take all the mouse balls out of the lab computers, put them in a sock, and try to beat the crap out of each other. Anything to avoid going on the computer

Linux is already user friendly, my grandparents have been using Mint to check their email and look up soup recipes for over a decade at this point :)

Who cares about lakefront views. That’s their problem. I need renewable electricity that doesn’t take twenty years and cost a billion dollars. And I’d rather not have more methane power plants that store their waste in my lungs.

“Lot rot” is a real problem with storing cars outdoors. Stuff like cracked hoses, rotted tires, flat spots, leaks etc. will be funny to see the “defect rate” go even higher on these batches…

Anybody who’s ever actually seen how cows live understands why pasteurization is good. Those things are covered with shit and piss basically all the time. If I wanted to eat cow piss I would have bought a carton of cow piss

Hopefully Canada aligns vehicle imports with EU/SEA and we get the cool weird cars first 🤞

The USSR built thousands and thousands of apartment blocks using factory construction and standard designs. All with cast reinforced concrete and simple materials such that they could be moved by road & rail. It worked, and solved the world’s most dire housing crisis at the time. Similar story in UK

Florida is going to be wild once all the Ontarians and Quebecors sell their condos and trailers. That was the last thread keeping the place quasi-normal for the past 30 years.

It’s also just so much faster to call a taxi. 30 second phone call talking to a human vs. five minutes of trying to sign into an account, tap a bunch of bullshit, random upsells constantly, etc.
