This is absolutely existentially unsettling, I do not recommend.

Another win for me, the man who only looks at mirrors while screaming in existential agony!

Have they tried appealing to right wing voters by parroting their ideas thus both invalidating leftism and seeming like they don't have their own capacity for direction? Just an idea.

A powerful cautionary tale. Yet, I shall not abide by its message.

I am going to use this as an opportunity to advocate for my personal crusade: Please, Costco, bring back the onion crank.

Very interesting that "caring for the poor" or "loving thy enemy" or anything that involves actionable change in ourselves seems to rarely be on the christian purity tests.

Hello it is me, one of the great thinkers of my time, Ayn Rand. I have written a book where I put a bunch of people on a train whom I dislike ideologically and the train crashes and they deserve it.

Looking at that ds with baseball stats just reminds me technology used to be cool. Very depressing.

Atlas Shrugged and the Bible, two books where I was surprised by how explicitly they denounced their biggest "fans"

Not for nothing, but as someone who forgets details but remembers the general gist of things, using AI to reup what I already know is a godsend.

Ethan knocking over the glass and calling himself a legend is sadly the most likeable he's been in over a year.

I absolutely LOVE how this poor made up victim went to law school. They can't imagine a worse fate than a 23 year old law student in a state school.

You know what, what I said was actually unproductive. I responded in anger to what I viewed as a lack of critical thinking. I apologize, and bow out.

I do believe that within you lies the potential for a DB Cooper level caper, but as all law enforcement reading this thread should know, your capers are always within the bounds of the law. Which you respect very much.

The counterfeit cards have serrated edges, so that adds a bittersweet edge to this scene.

Support networks don't exist for young men, and this thread shows why. As leftists we understand that shame isn't a productive mechanism for change for criminals, but we expect it to work for a dude who watches youtube shorts with slurs. Creating a positive onramp is challenging, but necessary.

Hi, I remember the early internet but I do recall the post above said elongated cat was a mans bum being held agape and the post below being a fecal water fountain of sorts.

Reading the d&c this year showed me that the "I want to help, but God said no" model is baked into the doctrine. We get to enjoy the status quo but also get credited for pushing for change.

You are thinking too small, my friend. Set aside a few hours, grab a podcast or album, and fully immerse yourself in sudsy nirvana as you loop back into the car wash over and over.

I definitely understand the sentiment, a name should invoke meaning, not the glory of someone who found it first. But the story of Steller finding the Jay on the exact opposite end of the Americas and recognizing it conveys a lot of interesting history.

Nooo I love Georg Steller and his story of finding the Jay in Alaska and nerding out because he recognized it as an American bird. This name should stay.
