@craigfaycomedy.bsky.social Listening to the Chicken Run episode right now. I’m not 100% about this, but I’m pretty sure it’s a whimsical reinterpretation of “The Great Escape.” Enjoying the episode a lot, but still doing a little nervous chuckling when the stand-ins for the SS are being defended.

Hey @holland-tom.bsky.social, I was in a very unusual mood this evening and decided to give Mamma Mia a watch. Now, I know you’re a fan of the sequel and you’ve compared it to Orpheus and Eurydice, but watching the first film, I’m being struck over the head by all the Shakespearean comedy elements.
