The broken NHS dental system and decrimination being shown to universal credit Teenagers and adults who cannot get an appointment ( Advertising they are accepting new patients but only Private patients) Its needs fixed stop the NHS /UC Decrimination. www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/...

Watchdog raises concern over DWP plan to deduct benefit overpayments. Govt wants 24/7 access to benefit claimants bank accounts, remove money without agreement or court order, right to appeal. Banks will charge fees. People could be left without money to pay for essentials.

💯

A private equity firm just bought £1.6 BILLION worth of the NHS. It will make bigger profits by hiking rents for hospitals and NHS facilities. Previous govts privatized the estate. That means less money for frontline healthcare. NHS already drained by PFI and private contractors.

Tell us something we don't know...

Thames Water hopes to agree deal with a bidder by end of June. Private equity is favourite. It won't end profiteering, sewage dumping. Private equity are masters of cash extraction, high debt, asset stripping and tax dodges. Govt can begin to end the crisis. Nationalise but it refuses.

Downing Street considers U-turn on cuts to benefits for disabled people. That would be good. People must keep up pressure. Visit your MP's surgery. Must reverse the two child benefit cap, restore winter fuel payment to pensioners below the poverty line.

So hows Trumps new speacial relationship with Putin going manage this news ? USA best realise there leaders being played. And review there history about where there freinds really are www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/solo...

UK Govt imposing cuts, silence on corporate welfare. Billions in subsidies to auto, steel, oil, gas, coal, biomass, shipping, others to boost their profits. Banks continue to receive public money. Received £70bn since 2021; to receive another £120bn by 2028. Must have people-centred politics.

Average annual energy bill to rise to £1,849 in Great Britain from April And that’s paid after you’ve paid your tax on earnings ffs Expensive country to live in 😡

UK domestic energy prices will rise by inflation-busting 6.4% in April to £1,849 a year on average. Fuel poverty will increase. People will cut spending elsewhere, derail economic recovery. UK energy industry made £483bn profit since 2020. Govt/regulators don't protect people.

Carnage and trouble will follow if this idea gets anywhere near reality www.dailyrecord.co.uk/lifestyle/mo...

Thames Water asks UK competition watchdog to approve 53% price hike. OFWAT approved 35% price hike. Sewage will continue to be dumped, dividends and high debt will continue. Regulators now have a duty to promote growth of industry. No one protects trapped customers? archive.ph/MnzFh

Last year, 74,000 cancer patients didn’t get treatment on time in NHS England. A death sentence, misery for their families. Avoidable human cost of arbitrary fiscal rules, mustn't tax the rich/corporations policies. Must put people's welfare first. news.cancerresearchuk.org/2025/02/13/7...

After more than 6 months in government, Labour needs to deal with this calamitous situation urgently. #ToothlessLabour #RipoffDentists #BritishTeethADisgrace www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Year of the snake so many to choose from

Judge slams Ofwat and govt for not attending Thames Water hearing. No one representing people/customers as lenders carve the company. Thames has £19bn debt, wants to borrow another £3bn, only £1bn will be useable, customer bills will rocket, won't resolve the crisis. Nationalise. archive.ph/NVzcP

The End Game? Thames Water restructuring deal would provide £1.5bn now, potentially rising to £3bn. Already has £19bn debt. Customer bills will rocket. New money would pay adviser fees, existing interest charges, leaving £500m in usable cash. And after that? End the Ponzi scheme. Nationalise

People are being refused NHS dental care and told they must pay ( affordable private) care? www.theguardian.com/society/2024...

Tory legacy. Children in UK suffering ‘irreversible harm’ due to physiotherapy delays Families travel 200 miles for NHS physiotherapy services because of delays or a lack of access where they live. Part of strategy to force people to go private. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

A shocking disgrace that any government is allowing this after they dumped sewage all over the UK for years. Pay big wages to top dogs give little back and still are allowed to hike the prices up get a grip and stop this. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

What you get for yet more privatisation another legacy from the terrible Tories . who's going to miss this over priced 3rd rate service now anyways? www.aol.co.uk/news/royal-m...

England water companies use disinformation tactics similar to fossil fuel & tobacco industries with the widespread use of greenwashing to downplay the environmental harm they cause. They describe sewage overflows as “heavily diluted rainwater”. Can't trust them. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

And rightly so www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/cost-of...

Seriously ? www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

The rich get richer www.theguardian.com/society/2024...

Thames Water released raw sewage into a chalk stream for more than 1,000 hours over the past 6 weeks. Execs will get a bonus. The company wants to pay higher dividends, record hike in customer prices. Regulators do nothing. Govt can end the scam by nationalisation, but won't. archive.ph/k7b60

Rising UK State Pension age will push more dying people into poverty. Ageing people suffer ill health due to low wages, poor food, housing, healthcare but can't retire. 92,000, mostly poor, die before getting pension. More will die as pension age rises. www.mariecurie.org.uk/blog/rising-...

Free school meals 'would tackle child poverty', help families too. England govt should emulate Scotland, NI and London. 5.2m children live in poverty. Free school meals to all primary/secondary pupils would cost £2.5bn. End tax perks of the rich. Save the future. www.bbc.com/news/article...

England's children's homes run by private equity rake in millions. Private firms own 83% of homes. Average charge for a child in care is £281,000 a year. Some charge £63,000 a week per child. For-profit homes provide the worse care. End privatisation scam. www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/market...

I feel a big part of what's driving a financial crisis for many is the fundamental unstoppable greed of energy companies and inability of any Gov to stop the price rises from energy companies.

UK govt to appeal against river pollution ruling won by Yorkshire anglers. But the govt said cleaning rivers, lakes and seas was a top priority. Only 15% of England's rivers in good ecological status. Water companies dump sewage, don't bear cost of cleaning. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
