Well GTMO's known for detaining foreigners without charge and without due process.

Gitmo is the new Xinjiang. Migrants are the new Uighurs.

He's gonna turn GTMO into the equivalent of a Uighur camp, complete with crimes against humanity.

He's gonna abuse and persecute migrants like Uyghurs in China.

Yep. Like I said, I agree with what you said.

I agree with what you said except the prosecution in court part. Had he been adjudicated, it would have resulted in a meager fine. A grossly unjust consequence for such heinous, hurtful practices. White collar crimes are not prosecuted like others.

There have been 3 events in my life that fundamentally changed my soul forever: The birth of my daughter, the death of my father, and the re-election of DJT.

I always wonder about where we would be today in our effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions if Al Gore had won in 2000.

Yeah, she said: "I believe that the President has learned from this case" and that Trump "will be much more cautious in the future."

Yeah, remember what she said after she voted to acquit trump on the J6 impeachment articles: "I believe that the President has learned from this case" and that Trump "will be much more cautious in the future."

I was a young adult when I first watched Michael Moore's Sicko movie and I wept over the atrocities. But this atrocity, I have no tears for this one.

How does delinking PBM transparency offset spending?: Because if PBMs aren't required to be transparent they can price gouge medications! That's so totally fucked that that's the plan to offset spending. 😡

As an American, I love my country. But because I love my country, I believe it is in peril and so every nation that holds democracy to be the best social model for a civilized society should never yield to any ultimatums a tyrant demands. Even ours.

I feel like Charlize Theron in Devil's Advocate when she starts seeing the people around her for the demons they are.

Remove 'under God', 'indivisible', and 'liberty' too.
On second thought, just remove the whole thing because pledging allegiance is indoctrination and a tool of authoritarianism.

It used to be, when someone told me they’re Christian, I'd ask about their denomination. Now I ask who they voted for.

The problem is that what could save a life could also land the Dr. in prison. The law is so opaque that doctors don't know where the line is drawn. If this shitty law must stand then it must be written with zero ambiguity. The blood of the innocent is on the hands of the lawmakers.

That I don't know. But what I do know is that every House Representative was given a number of inauguration tickets to distribute and you can visit your rep's web page to request tickets. I just went to my rep's page and typed 'inauguration tickets' in the search bar and filled out the request form.

Also, I wore black for months after the 2016 election and now those articles of clothing are back in circulation.

I submitted a request for inauguration tickets right before the election and I got a call from my rep's office the other day wanting to know if I still wanted them. I said yes! I won't go. I just want them so his crowd size is smaller, and because I'm looking forward to setting them on fire.
