The January 2025 LA wildfires killed 29 people, destroyed over 16,000 structures, and exposed millions to toxic smoke. Harvard Chan's Kari Nadeau says that the study will “rigorously examine the [wildfires'] health effects“ and aim to “provide the communities with this information in real time.“
