@coachnelly.bsky.social @sergeyager.bsky.social i just found out I'm going to be pseudo head judge at tomorrow's prerelase, any tips for me? I've never done any official judge work, but i know most of the things i need to know to handle gameplay questions...

@carlmarket.bsky.social I've created a new format for magic, with only commons and uncommons from 5 randomly selected standard sets. I've been building decks all week, trying to adjust to the meta and best decks and its a lot of fun. It feels like I'm preparing for the pro tour. discord.gg/6SWgPQJq

@hankgreen.bsky.social Have you tried Super Yatzy? All players start the game with 45 dice rolls and they choose for them selves how to spend them. Once the 45 rolls are spent, you get 0 on the once you havent filled in yet. It really makes yatzy a lot more tactical and fun in the long run...

@carlmarket.bsky.social what would happen if two players with the same stacked decks played? Like they draw exactly the same cards. Would be fun to try with two controll decks maybe?

@carlmarket.bsky.social Video idea: You have a max allowed cost of the cards you play each round (100€?). That way you have to calculate if you can play a valuable card early and win, but if that card is removed, you are stuck with other valuable cards in hand you cant play.
