My contention is that Dems are far better off honing, reiterating, and doubling down on their central claims about democracy and Trump - the claims that are responsible for the vast majority of their appeal - than attempting any tricky maneuver where they change the subject to pick off a few votes.

Inflation concerns are the answer that bigots and racists gave to pollsters because they realize that even they don't want to vocal about their bigotry. Inflation was already a narrative that was being pushed by national media, so they continued to ramp up "coverage" of it instead of actual news.

I have genuine sympathy for people who thought Trump was going to bring back their factory job or make IVF free because that's what he promised them and the media refused to say that he was lying.

Nowadays they have to plead with the countries that encouraged them to sign it for the means to defend themselves. If they had not signed it, kept their warheads & developed a simple delivery system, we would (and your Prez cannot emphasize this enough) *never* have invaded them.
