I think one of the main reasons the US never had a successful modern 3rd political party is that we've never really had a 2nd party. Now, with Trump, we have a 2nd party. It's just full of wannabe fascists. Honestly, I expected less blind support from my fellow Americans, but here we are.

A lot of the lefties on here seem happy about Biden pardoning his son solely on how it, apparently, angers the MAGA crowd. "If you didn't get upset about Trump's pardons...etc" works both ways. If you got upset when Trump pardoned his family, but not when Biden did it, you've lost the thread.
