Can't believe I just spent 20 minutes listening to someone clutch their pearls about the Daggerheart license only to cap it off with, "The ORC was right there, this is so out of line with open gaming."
...that's because it's not an open game license. Doy.

He was never someone I proactively thought about as a Great™ or even just a favourite actor. He'd always just hung around in the background of my film consciousness. But in retrospect, it was always a delight to watch him. Sometimes you really don't know what you have until it's gone.

And most of them were top 10 singles in their home country. My point was that describing a band that spent 20+ years making memorable and award-winning music as "two hits and then crashed out" just because you only know the songs they licensed to American TV shows or whatever is, well, very silly.

What I CAN'T fathom are all the people coming out of the woodwork who are so fucking TERMINALLY under a rock that they had no idea any fascism was happening? All sentient thought began and ended at "Maybe I'll save $50 on gas next year." Raised by wolves ass behaviour. Speak to any one other person.

I think it's a good start! A sign, at least, is not a cop.

I wish Letterboxd-likes let you make this distinction. I try to synthesize them by rating "How good I thought it was" from 2 to 4 stars and then granting a bonus or penalty half- or full star for "How much I liked it." The highs and lows are well-defined but there's 15 reasons I rate something 3.5 😩

3. Audible: I only get to know if it's Canadian if it's an Audible Original
4. Youtube: idk but "We don't show you your subscriptions anymore" just isn't a winning model. I had to look up a how-to (because information is dead on the rest of the Internet) and now my whole feed 5-minute life hacks.
