I bought it months ago on ps, is it worth playing now? I tried getting through the first mission but quit early on

In terms of a monthly player base it will, but Halo will only be saved when it's taken more seriously as an IP. The lack of games, the quality of games & books that should be games are what's hurting halos appeal to new & old players.

I'd rather Xbox have timed exclusives for a couple months then release them onto other platforms. But at the same time keep them only on gamepass subscriptions. That way they can leverage actual game sales on ps while increasing subs for those who don't want to pay full price.

Can we at least get a next Gen update for NFS 2016?

Makes sense. They work with whatever's easiest to make content. Just a little frustrated with the lack of traditional weapons. But content is content & it's always appreciated.

I agree. Like the in canon reason for it is that the banished repurposed spnkr launchers to shoot venezian fuel rods is cool I guess. But seriously why couldn't they just make it the actual fuel rod cannon?

It's a tie between gears of war 1 & Halo 3's campaign

I think any acquisition that does not result in better games or better work environments are a bad thing. Xbox has had a good number of games comefrom their studios. But with this we'll have to wait & see. Maybe we'll get a blood borne remake.

Now if only they can do that for ghost recon wild lands

I thought it would've been great to see a new approach to the halo formula by showing some stealth & more detective gameplay. That would've reflected the "hunt" part of the marketing alot better. Like with Infinite's open world it was a great first try at giving Halo a fresh approach

Suffering a wound caused by the other but none of that is in the game. The hunt the truth shows a dark side of oni, & how it tries to portray the chief as not the legend that he is. But again, none of that is even remotely talked about in the game.

Yeah, but it doesn't feel connected to the game in a way I was hoping for. You can watch those trailers & listen to the podcast expecting this story of how the chief goes AWOL, then locke has to hunt him down & it's going to be this big show down, which was shown with them both being defeated

The hunt the truth podcast, & the 2 trailers with locke & the chief with reversed roles. They gave us this story that locke was going to hunt the Master Chief. But In the actual game we got a cutscene of a fight. Then all that's thrown away once Cortana's revealed to be the big threat

Fair point, but Halo 5's marketing compared to the actual game's story felt really misleading

Halo 5. Had a great marketing campaign & hunt the truth was amazing but what we got was no where near the hype.
