Wait... is this the best meme ever made?

Gentle reminder to anyone who needs it today: The more you use technology to replace the things you used to do for for yourself, the less you will be able to do them. That goes for writing, walking, thinking, communicating, making things, and all the things humans used to be pretty good at.

Happy Pride šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆšŸ³ļøā€āš§ļøā¤ļø To everyone who has found themselves, and those of us still figuring things out. You are seen, you are valid, you are loved. šŸ’‹šŸ’•

One of the worst sound drivers I had the displeasure of dealing with as a musician is Asio4All. It doesn't work. Claims it's unavailable because two things are in use, disabling one does nothing, can't even address the other because it doesn't say what's using it. And best yet, zero solutions online

Reasons I'd never want to stay rich. - It's alienating. - Probably demoralizing (People asking for money all the time). - People telling me where to put my money. - Inflation.

Anyone is prone to be bigoted when their comfort or complicity is taken to question.

One of the worst things about human rights is that people will speak on behalf of others, even those we generally have disdain for. So there's no consistency. Meanwhile, people who are already convinced X group of people are criminals, wouldn't even let X group speak for themselves. #dystopia

Banning trans women from attending the Labour women's conference is a pretty clear violation of human rights. It's not even supported by the now broken Equality Act. I hope someone sues them over this. They would lose at ECHR

Everybody's an expert in a closed minded state. But nobody's an expert in an open minded state. I wonder why that is...

It's crazy that most people don't even have the basic knowledge that sexuality doesn't have an on off switch.

#kingofthehill

People who hind behind bigoted views/accusations/fake beliefs, are the type of people who do a disservice to the real problems. Example: X person is racist (Reality is they're not), then you let plenty of other racists get away with it.

People often ask why inconsistency is an issue, and it took me a while to pin point it. I think it's to do with trust. The more inconsistencies with a belief system, the more untrustworthy someone becomes. It applies to many things too. #advice #belief #vegan #climatechange #health #mentalhealth

I just want the UK to stop going backwards

The message is pretty clear here: Barclays Bank is anti-LGBT rights. Just don't bank or invest with them if you value LGBT people having rights

Something that popped into my head, and this is a TW topic. How can you understand abusive behaviour without studying it? genuine question. People pretend to be in the mind of abusers, but in reality, this isn't how it works. Same with being a victim, it can't be guessed, it has to be studied.

These boxes are not moving. A mind-bending optical illusion by Japanese artist Jagarikin.

Cognitive decline. And we all know who I’m talking about

Another yearly reminder that what family or friends tell you, isn't always going to be correct. Point being, the antidote to bigotry is demonstrable evidence.

It has to be said, not understanding an something from an opposing point of view/opinion on purpose is its own form of bigotry.

People who defend animal products and exploitation have to justify it. So far, I've not met a single person that has. I have in a very niche scenario, but it doesn't keep me doing it, because I'm not the exception. That's why I'm still #vegan

As someone who very much loves old music, I have found great new music too. One of the best pieces of advice I can give is, instead of wishing what could be, start finding what will stick. You'll be happier in the long run. It can apply to many other things too, like TV, movies, books, etc.

Not that it'd ever happen, I wouldn't want a signature guitar with my name on it. I'd want to design a useful and long lasting guitar, meaning reachable 24th fret, good pickups, glow in the dark side inlays, volume/tone knobs out the way, a unique paint finish, but more importantly, a simple name.

The best antidote to misinformation is actual information.

sweat the small stuff

In my opinion, smoke (and heat) detectors that go off when you're doing something like cooking are very unreliable and dangerous. to the point where whenever I hear it go off, I just ignore it. I'm not bursting my ear drums, that's more of a danger to life than fire ever will be.

Events of Turn Introductions Part 1, 2, 3, and 4. A sci-fi fantasy webcomic series I created.

An argument without giving everyone a chance to voice their own point, especially for their own cause or group, is cowardice. Which ironically describes politics as a whole. and is why I hate political hierarchy and positioning.

This is an excellent idea - does anyone want to work with Angelus?
