I get annoyed by the captalist/industrialist culture we're in and how misleading it is. If I were in charge of it, I'd do it right. Marketing: Point out the pros and cons/targetaudience in my own products. Profit: Only take the bare minimum so there's no massive price tag. Thus creating less waste.

Instead of responding to something you don't like that makes you feel better, respond with an unobjectionable point instead.

Doubts can be a healthy thing so long as you keep tabs on both sides of an argument, think them through, and challenge them logically and demonstrably. #advice #debate

I'm a pretty organised person who can't stand being disorganized, which is only worsened by other people being disorganized/not planning ahead on purpose. I call the latter trend anti-organized.

One narrative that's exhausting to see with 'relationships' is ironically the 'red flags' one. Which is a red flag itself, since it's just a stereotype. Common maybe, but no relationship is ever the same. Not to mention some of the 'red flags' alienate innocent and well meaning people. #relationship

The other day I was in bed, and forgot I was laying on time. Then I said "Not on my watch." and flipped onto the other side. #joke #jokes #dadjoke

"Don't Love Me, I'll Cry" and "Motherf***er I'm just existing" were two statements that simply had to be made into shirts. Brand new merch store (print on demand) is now up! sherlockhulmes.teemill.com

Something to pick your brains about: What's demonstrably true about your argument that disproves the opposing argument? Whenever I see climate denial and even violent threats to climate activists, I often wonder if they've thought this through or can prove their own argument. #climatechange

If you want to sum up how pathetic humanity really is, just look at how we prioritise character attacks over proving a point.

I strongly advise people pick up physical (not digital) hobbies, which some can be learnt digitally for sure. You never know when these services might disappear. When they do, you'd be glad you picked them up. I still read books for example, fiction at the moment, but still good to have.

Whenever I get Deja Vu, I get the urge to do something so significant that I'll remember it and break the cycle... because Deja Vu just feels like an endless cycle, it's so bizarre.

That crazy moment when you live in a time where people dismiss demonstrable evidence/studies for personal gain, and for some reason the lay person trusts their life with AI... yep, we're screwed. It's not long before being reasonable is a crime.

Before I go out somewhere (if it's hours at a time), I will have all my liquid intake as usual an hour and a half before hand. This way I don't need to go to the toilet while I'm out (drink as much as I want then), and I'm not missing my intake, and avoid using bathrooms.

i hope it’s clear that big tech is not an ally. it only was as much as it was profitable. textboon rainbow capitalism, and now when they saw the writing on the wall, they flopped back into fascisms arms

Why does a vegan diet need to be called out for being unhealthy when people can't honestly do the same for their own? For all the "my friend got ill on X diet people", these claims mean nothing without the evidence to back it up, not to mention being honest about your own diet groups.

Your lack of intelligence is no excuse for hatred.

Convenience is easier to settle into than research. Ironically my tin foil theory for why we see a lot of psuedoscience and conspiracy theories in place of demonstrable evidence is simply that people didn't do the bare minimum or find a middle ground. Easier to believe a lie than to uncover truth.

TW: Trauma Looking back on my life, one of the worst things about trauma isn't so much that I'll remember it for the rest of my life, it's the fact it can influence my actions and decisions unknowingly.

Not sure if there's a term for this, but I call a certain phenomenon the pedestal effect. The one where people can fully commit to something for a sense of ego or self-worth. Often wondered how people can commit to 'exercise' and say it helps with stress. (Which doesn't work for me by the way)

One of the worst things about my mental health at the moment isn't so much that I'm depressed, it's that I'm not motivated to do anything, even the things I really enjoy doing. It takes something very strong and overwhelming to do that. Lucky to report that I started the One Piece Anime, that helps.

The irony of being called "Too soft" when words are too sharp for them.

We're going to make it through this 🩷💙 Let's turn our fear and rage into community action.

Just another example of why tradition/up bringings are not equivalent to morality. Lots of our ancestors were probably racists, sexists, war criminals, and slave owners, etc. Whenever I hear "My family owns an animal farm." Just remember that doesn't equal morality. #vegan #animalrights #morality

About Emergency Alerts. Why do they have to be so loud? apparently there's another test for this in the UK. The last time they did it, I got severe anxiety and had to disable it on my phone's settings out of fear of it happening again. Why can't it just be delivered calmly to us sensitive folk?

Don't use despair, anger or depression as a means to cut life short. Find something meaningful and close to your heart to focus on, so that you may help yourself and others find light amidst the darkness.

"I don't care about X thing, the world is dead to me." This isnt about what you think. It's about the people of the future. If a minor inconvenience to you isn't worth their future, then who's to say a minor inconvenience isn't worth anything to yours? #advice #speech #lgbt #animalrights #vegan

5 Years Vegan. Ask me anything. #vegan #animalrights #veganuary #ama #askmeanything youtu.be/Xwb3jHy9qks?...

I'm not 100% sure I understand why so many vegans aren't into gaming? There's a place for it, and it's a great way to do activism (without it being the entire point of the game). I've been gaming since childhood, it always surprises me there aren't many other vegan gamers or developers. #vegan

One of the worst things charities and organisations have done to me is exploit my honesty. I remember in times of need, I say I'm not under 25 but have no friends or family I can talk to, then they outright reject me. I was 26 at the time + autism + learning difficulties.

It's not just greed that kills, it's wilful ignorance that does too. Spending a life time hiding from the truth and pretending not to understand it is what brings destruction. I'm calling you out. You better listen well because I refuse to let you get away with the consequences.

I may have discovered an optimal way to get into routine in a way that makes up for lost time yet hones my 'craft'? whatever you call it. I spend an hour per day on music and artwork (2 hr), and I want to branch out and do more. Why not make a 3rd hour for both, a flexible slot? #art #music #hobbies

Content warning: dark theme. Sometimes losing the will to live isn't just about ending your own life, it's about ending others. I don't know why this isn't discussed more. Instead it's often rage over reason. The world is so fucked up, people want to see it burn. Let that sink in.

Not to sow chaos into the current mix of affairs across the world today, but I am a quiet person, there are quiet people out there who don't say many words or speak at all in social situations. Often not by choice. Get used to it or get lost. #autism #neurodivergent #PDD

"It's still theory" Is an argument I hear against things like the creation of the universe, dinosaurs, and evolution. However, faith (the religions) are also theory. The only difference is, the one with the most damning evidence is the most likely.

Teaser of my upcoming webcomic series. Admittedly this is just a background thing, but I'm quite happy with my animating so far, I made the assets in Clip Studio Paint, and the animation in Davinci Resolve. Without many tutorials, only keyframes where it clicked it works for other tools

I think a lot of people forget that people have power within their hands, not figureheads/leaders. I think this is more important than ever given all the discourse over the years and even organisations turning on the people they support.

Character attacks are indicative of a lack of knowledge/understanding. I keep thinking about this and can't really find any flaw with this. I think about all the activism that happens for various causes and how people use attacks as a response. Doesn't this mean the 'attacker' is wrong here?

I'm making an image for a future project that will appear in the background. I was trying to make a galaxy, I figured out how to make one on my own. When fixing the gaps (Originally dark background), I filled it with pink and this happened. It's one of the best things I've made. #art #galaxy

How is it not common knowledge that veganism isn't a spectrum about animal welfare? It's literally a lifestyle with one simple definition (Refer to the Vegan Society) #vegan #veganism #animalrights

This has been a topic I've thought about for a long time. Obviously while the climate crisis contributes to animal suffering, the inherent problems within shouldn't go ignored. I never looked at nature gleefully, behind every beautiful photograph is suffering. youtu.be/JnLtSowMhWU?...

"You can love animals and eat them." That's not love for animals, it's love for yourself for the trivial pleasure you gain from eating them. If you truly loved another living being, you wouldn't even view them as exploitable to begin with. #vegan #animals #love #fact

Does anyone else use the "Grounding Effect" (placeholder name) to circumvent major issues and troubles? I do it with my loneliness. I set my heart and mind on my high focus hobbies, and that's enough. That grounds it, it helps, it beats therapy.
