This is why I have hobbies that can be applied physically too. I still read physical books, I can draw, I can play guitar, and I can cook to an extent. You never know, all the things we use today could stop working tomorrow, forever

I jumped ship from Hoyoverse games the moment they announced global passives. It gave me a lot to reflect on, then started to realize how scummy these games are.

There is an animation/gradient behind the boxes which goes in the direction of the arrows, creating the illusion. Probably something to do with how we process lighting too, similar to how you turn on light in the dark and it takes a few seconds to adjust your eye sight to it.

Going through a similar thing in the UK, have done for years actually. Healthcare is still bad, disabled people like me are going to be genocided soon due to money cuts, trans rights don't exist anymore, and people are blaming immigration for all our problems.

Because of how non-sensical you sound. You're using a different definition to the one I'm using. At this point I think you're trolling. Watch some vegan debate videos, continue believing bullshit, be on the wrong side of history. Good luck out there.

People weren't aware slavery was wrong. People weren't aware racism and sexism were wrong. You can't use ignorance as an excuse. And again, you failed to justify the exploitation. Proving my point in the original post.

Right, but then discriminating also means telling white people from black people in that case. Only hatred brings violence. Humans are superior, but you exploit another's weakness, which is inherently cruel

And doesn't it feel wrong to exploit vulnerable individuals like animals?

I think you mean differentiate, not the same as discrimination though. We're talking about the hatred of animals. There's a term called speciesism which is the human superiority over animals. So far though, you've completely ignored that animals are conscious beings who feel pain just like us.

I doubt it. You never stated why you discriminate. There is no statistic for percentage of vegans, and it varies from country to country Yep, people are eating less animals and animal products. There's been surveys saying people are reducing their intake of animal products. More vegan food now.

And that doesn't strike you as wrong? Despite animals being of equal intelligence? Because if we chose to eat those lesser intelligent, then neither you or me would be alive. Not to mention, how would they look in the future. Would we look back on it in shame?

No. They don't get to choose where the money goes let alone what they work on.

I've seen this comment a lot, that doesn't matter so long as as people promote the IP and along with it, let JK Rowling profit from it. It negates any good will the game let alone its audience has.

Because you discriminate against those animals but not others.

Then I'd have to say you're dishonest. Animals are conscious and intelligent, they feel pain, they can't consent. And the argument falls apart when you can't justify slaughtering dogs, cats or horses for meat or fur. Same with humans because there are humans with below average intelligence.

That's the same as defending any other atrocity. The evidence is always stacked against you. Animal exploitation leads to abuse. There's industry practise that literally enforces it. Even then, the point I could never even begin to justify is animal exploitation.

Final part, which is more like a Q&A
