You can see his eyes looking at the gun and his brain thinking 'am I allowed to shout at her for this like I would anyone else??'

Oh that's good to hear. And yeah it was just a nice account of a meal with a loved one that was honestly pretty well written. There was nothing to suggest she wanted to be the next Jay Rayner it's just the shitty kind of job you give to an intern!

The wildly inappropriate criticism that poor girl faced breaks my heart more every time I think about it. Hope she's doing okay.

A great hero who was treated disgracefully by the Welsh Rugby Union. Delighted he found a home and the love and respect he deserved in league.

Haha weirdly Simply Red would seem a good choice?? Frontman a big Labour guy, very inoffensive. The odd thing is Starmer was actually in a post punk band at university I think so he does actually know this stuff!

Yeah I think it's good to have a pop band in there I think. Oasis's omission is odd. Also given that Starmer seems determined to woo the racists he could have just gone with The Smiths.

I always think chess is like reading. When you're on form, looking at the the pieces feels like reading a beautiful novel that reveals itself effortlessly. But when your form abandons you it's like trying to read an exam paper in a subject you've never studied, in a language you don't understand.

According to Gary Oldman's final speech in Batman Begins, this kind of escalation can only lead to the emergence of the AI Joker 😔
