Maybe it's because I'm old (75)-just don't see the reason to generally hate any group when I can concentrate my vitriol on actual people who constantly do me harm. You were Truth to Power on MSNBC! So sorry for what they did to you! I found Zeteo (can't afford to upgrade yet, but I intend to)!

Be careful what you wish for. Doesn't that mean that the Texas judge who consistently blocks pro-women rights can no longer block them for all states? Please let me know. Thank you, Susan Frasca-Foley (Iamsodone.bsky.social)

I think there are others-- Duckworth, Ruiz, etc. Could these members of Congress and others face deportation?

I wish there was a way you could tell-- like when the pilot light is out and the gas has that smell. Hmm... I think that is the case with Trump already-- at least that's what I've heard from people who have been near him...

I must admit that the person Stephen King is a man to be admired. His books have scared the ever lovin' crap out of me. His books, and Dean Koontz' book "The Bad Place" are the only ones I have never been able to finish!

Help me out here. By 'uncap' you're talking about expanding the members from 435 to what would be construed as equal representation for all Americans- in effect, getting rid of the gerrymandering by increasing the number of districts ergo the number of House representatives. Yup, I'm for that!

Unfortunately, it would negate the pre-nup...

Well, I'm 75 years old, & surprised myself this morning because I woke up! I was able to get out of bed & get ready for work (yes, I'm a 9-5er, 40 hours a week insurance agent!) It's sunny and warm. We'll get through this sweetie. Noticed less Trump/Confederate flags on trucks/houses! A GOOD sign!

Ouch! But there are those who will take that as a compliment, and we're all the worse for it...

I've heard that. Secretary Clinton was well-qualified, but a woman. Vice President Harris was well-qualified, but a woman. It isn't a 'black/white'-- it's sexist. It's a shame. Can I thank you for your posts? They are thoughtful and inspiring, so thank you!

Quick question: If wild fires or floods occur while the National Guard is federalized, can the Governor re-direct them to the catastrophes?

Thank you to Miss Mungo. In sixth grade, she drilled the periodic table into our heads and you just proved that I still recognize them! And thank you for bringing a smile to my face and a twinkle to my eye, and a loving memory!

ooh--toi-toi (what my Italian gramma used to say because she was too polite to say "fuck that!") I hope I'm never accused of being a trumper!!!!

It better be that he is resigning!

Does the 8600+ include the military in the parade? And the law enforcement out there? That would make sense...

So did Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida.

I must be quite a bit older than you. When I was in utero, I was already smoking, and drunk!! :)

Those troops should be disciplined for conduct unbecoming a soldier/officer. And if not, then do facial recognition on them so when they apply for police or ICE or National Guard, they are denied a job.

I'd like to see more people call June 14th Flag Day. That's what it was for years before that **** was hatched.

I believe a bill should be introduced in Congress called the First Lady's Legacy Act. This would protect all First Ladies' enhancements/beautifications of the White House/its grounds from being destroyed. The original enhancement would be restored if they have been demolished by later occupants.
comment in response to post
Please start referring to June 14th as Flag Day. That's what it was long before trump was born, and it will be that way long after he leaves office. Thank you!
comment in response to post
That's IT! Introduce the First Lady's Legacy Act. Anything that a 1st Lady did to improve the White House should be maintained-- NOT destroyed. The bastard started this in his first term. Stop this crap. This isn't right!!

So needed this! I laughed so hard (and I'm suppose to be working...)

And Joe Biden worked for the good of the country. TACO may have dementia, but he's cruel & heartless.

And when they say 'I didn't vote for this'-- it's a lie. They knew who he was and what he did the first time, separating breastfeeding infants from their mothers, etc. They are upset now because they're losing their gardener, nanny, etc. Like you, I'm upset but I'm not going to risk arrest & injury!
comment in response to post
I had that happen to me as well. Because my games, June's Journey, etc. are through FB, and I enjoyed liking & commenting on anti-trump posts, I was upset. When I was reinstated, I decided not to 'like' anti-trump posts. no repeat suspensions. The action by FB is to suppress free speech.

Wouldn't we need a Constitutional Amendment to add a "no confidence" clause to 'recall' a president due to lying during a presidential campaign. Hah! Would that even be considered constitutional? And isn't that what almost every candidate does?

CAN THESE GUYS BE 'FACIAL RECOGNIZED' AGAINST THE JAN 6TH INSURRECTIONISTS?
comment in response to post
If someone walked up to me in a mask, I would scream at the top of my lungs "STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER! HELP I'M BEING KIDNAPPED! CALL MY UNCLE DONNY TRUMP!"
comment in response to post
Can anyone do a 'facial recognition' on this guy? He looks like one of the insurrectionists from Jan 6th. Thank you for any help!

Well, I think I can cough up enough money to buy the HOT Wheels edition...
comment in response to post
Say it ain't so! If this was possible, why didn't someone speak up? Why didn't Harris/Walz contest the results? I know I sound like I'm taking this personally -- because I've been battling these people since the '60s. Really, please tell me that this is sarcasm. Please!
comment in response to post
You mean the Tesla that the American people bought so Donny could make his bestie feel better? Is that the Tesla he's selling?

I think it's time to make a pilgrimage to the sacred land of Ivana. We should have a memorial in her honor at the gravesite. Every day. Hundreds of mourners for the 'real' First Lady". Every day.

I heard that they are --supposedly-- the Jan 6 insurrectionists who were pardoned, and now eligible to work for the government they tried to overturn!

George Bush had to ask for special permission to enter Canada because of his DUI conviction from years & year ago. How is it possible for Trump to enter without asking for permission considering his 34 Felon convictions from last year?

This country is never going to elect a woman as president. The men in this country have 'mommy' issues, and their 'women' are submissive.

You are so right!! Thank you for my first guffaw of the day!!!

A well-trained militia would have people sign up, and have guns & ammo, etc. stored in a localized armory. Gee, didn't we have that? That's a far cry from what we have now -- unknown people storing a cache of arms in their own homes. Thank you for pointing this out!

What a joy it was to wander through 'the woods' (Takapusha Park) in Massapequa Park and finding these scattered among ferns, and blueberry bushes! Thank you for sharing!
