I encouraged my son to go to college and he did for one year. He ultimately decided that it wasn’t worth the debt. I have to support that decision after being a victim of predatory lending practices.

13 years ago I had a very different experience as my daughter was in a near-fatal car accident 2 days before Thanksgiving. The drs saved her but she never the same. I’m grateful she’s still with us even if she’s not the same smart, funny kid she was back then.
